Tirana shouts: Down with Communism!

After 35 years, the national cry "Down with Communism!" rings out on the boulevard of Tirana. The silence of the DP and the SP on the crimes of communism shows how Stalinist these two parties are, who in the '90s shouted: "Down with communism" and for 35 years did not condemn these crimes! Albanian political prisoners spent 914,000 years in political prison for a new European Albania, not for Stalinist continuity!

6,000 Albanians were shot and their bodies disappeared, and for 35 years the Democratic Party and the Socialist Party that killed them, today they do not have a grave on their land!

That is why the cry of 20-year-olds in Tirana echoes: "Down with Communism!" For 35 years, these two Stalinist parties did not hold a minute of silence in Parliament for these luminaries of democracy, but instead boasted that democracy was brought about by the sons of communists!

The miserable politicians who continue the Enverist politics today, after 35 years, neither blush nor turn pale for the lost lives of Albanians! But never, never in the spaces of this freedom of speech were the deep groans of our wounds heard; never were the writhings of humble souls heard, which were dissolving, wasting their youth and energies in the darkest cavities of communist prisons.

We were given freedom of speech, but this speech is still testifying to a comprehensive deformation of the Albanian person. This magnificent protest showed that the Albanian youth does not allow dictators, has killed fear and is elevating Albania in the world as a nation that loves freedom! "New Albania" saw two Stalinist parties, which did not build democracy, but built corruption and the democratization of power. / CNA
