Murder in Mirdita/ Victim identified

A serious incident occurred this Monday morning in the village of Shkorret, Mirditë, on the Reps-Spaç road.

The citizen with the initials V.Ll was found shot to death in his vehicle.

Police services have gone to the scene and are continuing intensive searches in the area to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).

At around 07:10, in the village of Shkorret, Mirditë, on the Reps–Spaç road, citizen V. Ll., around 45 years old, was found in a vehicle, suspected of being killed with a gunshot wound.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene and intensive checks in the area are continuing to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture and administer any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of fully clarifying the incident, legally documenting it, and identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s), the Police statement said./ CNA
