He was armed with a pistol/ The 32-year-old man was arrested in flagrante

A citizen was caught and arrested red-handed this Monday, after being armed with a pistol.

The operation codenamed "Midnight" took place in neighborhood no. 18 of the city of Durrës. 

During the physical search of citizen EK, the Police Services found a firearm, a pistol, in his waist bag, which he possessed without a permit, while during the search of his apartment, a quantity of combat ammunition was also found.

Further verifications revealed that the 32-year-old was driving the vehicle without a driver's license.

At the end of the procedural actions, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen EK, 32 years old, resident of Durrës, was made for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Irregular driving of vehicles".

The procedural materials were passed to the Durrës Prosecutor 's  Office for further action./CNA
