An accident resulted in the death of a 59-year-old man, on 25.08.2023, he left the scene of the accident and hid the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle was identified, caught and put in handcuffs.

Specialists of the Road Police Sector in DVP Durrës, following investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the accident resulting in death, which occurred on 25.08.2023, have identified, captured and arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen FK, 34 years old, resident in Shijak.

From the investigative actions, it turned out that this citizen, driving the vehicle, caused an accident resulting in the death of the citizen JM, a resident of Sukth, a pedestrian, he left the scene of the accident and hid the vehicle in Shijak.

The vehicle has been found and blocked by the Police services.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
