Firearms and cocaine/ 37-year-old man arrested in Tirana

The 37-year-old man, who was previously convicted for the same criminal activity, was arrested after violating the "House Arrest" security measure for the criminal offense of "Drug possession and sale" and was caught in the act with a quantity of cocaine. 

 

During the search of the 37-year-old's apartment, 1 comb pistol firearm with combat ammunition was found. 

 

A firearm, a pistol, a quantity of suspected narcotic cocaine and an electronic scale were seized.

 

Services of Police Station No. 6, following the work for the identification and suppression of criminal activities, after the information obtained about a citizen who was distributing the narcotic substance cocaine, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Recidivisti". 

 

As a result, the citizen MG, 37 years old, resident of Tirana, previously convicted for criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, was arrested.   

 

The MG citizen was stopped by the police services, on "Foto Xhavella" street, and during the physical check, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance of the cocaine type was found.

 

After the verifications, it turned out that the 37-year-old had broken the "House Arrest" security measure, for the criminal offense of "Drug possession and sale".

 

Following the actions, during the search in this citizen's apartment, a comb pistol firearm with military ammunition was found, which was seized as material evidence, together with the narcotic substance cocaine and an electronic scale.  

 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
