The Albanian authorities have captured a citizen from Russia, with the initials IK, 59 years old at the border in Muriqan,

This citizen was wanted because he was accused of being an accomplice of a Russian criminal who had committed a series of criminal acts.

Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with Interpol Moscow, to extradite the citizen IK to Russia.

In this context, in cooperation with the services of DVP Shkodër and as a result of the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Moscow, the police operation coded "Moscow" was finalized, following which he was arrested and put in handcuffs, with the aim extradition, citizen IK, 59 years old, resident of Moscow, Russia.

During the detailed verifications and the interview in the second line, at the entrance of the country, it turned out that the 59-year-old was declared an international wanted by Interpol Moscow, after the Russian authorities have assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", on the accusations that this citizen has assisted and cooperated with a perpetrator of serious criminal offenses in Russia. The maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.
