The death of the 17-year-old waiter in Saranda/ The court imposes an 'obligation to appear' for the elevator fitter

The Court of First Instance of Sarandë has imposed the security measure of 'obligation to appear' for the installer of the elevator where a 17-year-old lost his life.

The court session was led by judge Suela Xhani.

On the elevator fitter, the citizen with the initials LA, is charged with the criminal offense of "Violation of the rules of protection at work".

How the event happened:

The 17-year-old lost his life in Saranda on August 26, after he was taken by the elevator of a night club where he worked.

After the event, the citizen L. A, 43 years old, was arrested, as well as the owner of the SI club, 37 years old, both residents of Saranda, was declared wanted.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Albania for further action for the criminal offense "Violation of the rules of protection at work"./ CNA
