More than 36 planes were flying in the airspace of North Macedonia at the moment when the head of the DUI branch in Cair, Bekim Neziri, using his card and violating the protocols entered the radar tower at Skopje Airport. to punch one of the controllers, namely Premtim Berisha.

The head of the Controllers' Union said that entering a flight control facility constitutes a terrorist act and a violation of national security.

"The flight control facility itself is a strict space for a security facility that is of national interest to enter there, there are special security protocols. We believe that with international norms, this act in any normal country in Europe or the world would be treated as an act of terrorism. Just entering those spaces poses a risk because I don't come to the attack, if the person was conveying those positions that at the moment had to separate two or more flight lines, then there is a risk of potential matches of those planes", said Aleksandar Tasevski, Union of Controllers.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet filed criminal charges, while it is still receiving statements from witnesses, among whom were 3 employees who were physically attacked. Camera footage is also provided. /CNA
