A 29-year-old Albanian has fallen into the hands of the Italian police. He was arrested on charges of violent robbery.
The young man is citizen Elis Kanani, who is accused of three robberies within a few hours in two towns in the Catania area.
The 29-year-old's crimes were discovered thanks to security cameras and the identification of the vehicle he used when he committed the crimes.
In the Italian media it is said that the prosecution has announced that on the evening of December 2, 2023, the Albanian entered a tobacco shop in Zafferana Etnea, threatening the owner, who he raped, twisting her arm and forced her to hand over 600 euros from cash register
A few hours later, armed with an axe, Kanani entered a bar and threatened two employees and robbed 160 euros.
