The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, traveled to Latvia today. The visit comes at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics.

During this visit, Osmani will be received by the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics, with whom, in addition to meeting with his counterpart, he will hold a working meeting with the relevant delegations, as well as participate in the working lunch hosted by the president. After the meetings, they will hold a joint press conference, where Osmani will present the president with the Presidential Military Medal for the Latvian Defence Forces for their contribution to peace and security as part of KFOR.

Through a press release, Osmani announced that he will also visit the NATO Center of Excellence for Strategic Communications (STRATCOM), will also hold meetings with representatives of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce, and will have a discussion with experts and academics on policies that guarantee sustainable peace and security.

President Osmani's visit aims to further strengthen interstate relations with Latvia, advance bilateral cooperation in the fields of foreign policy, defense and security, economy, Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as exchange of experiences in strengthening democratic institutions./CNA
