The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has requested the help of the USA to speed up the process of Kosovo's membership in NATO, during a meeting with the American Senator, Jack Reed, on Tuesday in Pristina.

"Kosovo aims for membership in NATO and inclusion in the Partnership for Peace (PfP), so the support of the USA in accelerating this process is important and necessary. Our hope is that Kosovo will be in the PfP as soon as possible as a step before NATO membership ", said President Osmani.
