Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated Kosovo after yesterday's meeting in Brussels, where Prime Minister Albin Kurti accepted the EU's proposal for resolving tensions.

Rama declares on social networks that he cannot hide his satisfaction for the appropriate action of the leadership of Kosovo, as he describes it as a very important step.

He demands that Serbia accept the EU proposal and stop the old and dangerous debates.

"The wisdom of the Albanian people, and not only theirs in fact, teaches that 'better late than never'. I cannot hide my satisfaction that the leadership of Kosovo finally did the right thing at yesterday's meeting in Brussels! Wisely accepting the EU's proposal on October 21, Kosovo is in a much better position today.

This is a very important step forward. It is critical time for Serbia to do the same. Everything accepted and agreed so far must be implemented without delay. I call on our Western partners to maintain this momentum and push the parties towards a final solution. No more looking at your finger as it points to the moon.

Enough with the same old dangerous chatter. Enough with avoiding peace and feeding the ghosts of the past for the pettiness of domestic politics.
