At least 22 people were killed and several dozen others were injured Wednesday in a mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, US media reported, citing various law enforcement sources. Until the publication of this news, the exact number of victims is still unknown.

The Sun Journal, a newspaper in the city of Lewiston, quoted a police spokesman as saying that shooting incidents had been reported in three different areas.
