Konflikti Kamboxhia-Tajlandë/ Mbi 300 mijë njerëz të zhvendosur, gati 90 mijë familje

Numri i kamboxhianëve të evakuuar nga luftimet e vazhdueshme kufitare me Tajlandën është rritur në më shumë se 300,000 deri të premten pasdite.

Shifrat u konfirmuan nga Ministria e Brendshme e Kamboxhias në një njoftim për shtyp.

Gati 90,000 familje me mbi 300,000 njerëz kishin ikur nga shtëpitë e tyre pranë kufirit tajlandez për strehim të sigurt.

Konflikti kufitar Kamboxhia-Tajlandë ishte ende duke vazhduar, siç deklaroi Nënsekretari i Shtetit dhe Zëdhënësi i Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes së Kamboxhias, Gjeneral Lt. Maly Socheata.

"Në orën 13:27, trupat tajlandeze vendosën avionë për të bombarduar zonën Veal Intry (në provincën Preah Vihear)", -tha ministrja në një konferencë për shtyp.

Socheata shtoi se ushtria tajlandeze gjithashtu intensifikoi bombardimet e saj me artileri dhe tymin toksik në fshatin Prey Chan në provincën Banteay Meanchey./CNA
