Zelensky's adviser says "there can be no compromise" on the peace

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to Volodymyr Zelenskiy's chief of staff, says there can be no compromise on the president's peace formula for Ukraine.

Podolyak said that this includes negotiations about an "immediate cease-fire" and the negotiations, according to him, "would give Russia time to stay on the occupied territories", writes The Guardian.

He wrote: The only "basic basis for negotiations" is President Zelenskiy's peace formula. There can be no compromise positions like "immediate ceasefires" and "here and now negotiations" that give Russia time to stay in the occupied territories. Only the withdrawal of Russian troops to the border in 1991. There should be no illusions: any "Minsk-3" will only prolong the war in the future.
