Sentenced to 13.6 years in prison/ The leader of "Golden Dawn" is arrested

Nikos Michaloliakos was arrested on Monday afternoon, a few hours after the Appeals Council of Lamia annulled the provisional dismissal. Nikos Michaloliakos is expected to appear before the public prosecutor of Lamia.

We recall that the leader of "Golden Dawn" was released from prison in May. The Judicial Appeal Council, approving the prosecutor's proposal, decided that Nikos Michaloliakos should remain in prison.

Nikos Michaloliakos will serve a sentence of 13 years and 6 months in prison for running the Chrysi Avgi criminal organization.

The decision for the temporary dismissal of Nikos Michaloliakos was taken by the Judicial Council of Misdemeanors of Lamia, despite the proposal of the prosecutor imposing restrictive conditions such as: the prohibition to leave the region of the territory of the prefecture of Attica or to appear at the Police Directorate of his place of residence (Pefkis) once a month. / CNA
