The founder of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Rexhep Selimi, stated before the Hague tribunal that the liberation war cannot be equated with the murderous state of Serbia.

Selimi emphasized that in Kosovo there have never been any political parties that were against Kosovo's independence.

Selimi underlined that presenting the demand for independence as radical and autonomy as modern is an attack not only on Kosovo's history, but also on its future.
