Former KLA founder Rexhep Selimi delivered his speech at the Hague tribunal today. Selimi stated that he hopes that this will be the last time he speaks at this trial and that this process will serve as a good opportunity for justice.

The former KLA leader expressed his hope that the jury had had enough time to understand that the Kosovo war was just. Selimi said that after these years of judicial proceedings, time has vindicated his statement that the accusations are completely unfounded.

Focusing on the SPO, Selimi stated that the prosecution has continued to rely on unfounded allegations and has continued its efforts to tarnish the war.

" I hope this is the last time I speak in this courtroom. Let this serve as a good opportunity for justice. After all these years there is a positive element, I hope the jury has had time to understand that our fight was just. Today after all this journey, the process has proven me right, the accusations against us are completely unfounded. I ask you to exercise justice.
