Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister, Glauk Konjufca, is present today at the trial of former KLA leaders in The Hague.

Konjufca made a statement to the media before the start of the session, where he said that there is no court or institution that can change the fact that the Kosovo war was just and clean.

Further, Konjufca stated that the Special Court is trying to distort history and the basis on which the court was built, the Dick Marty report, turned out to be a fraud.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that the KLA was not a criminal enterprise and this truth will come to light, crowned with the release of former KLA leaders.

 

" Our war was just and pure. No institution can change this truth, no court. What is trying to happen inside this court is the distortion of history. The basis on which this court was built, the Dick Marty report, turned out to be a fraud. A group of deputies has addressed the request for the treatment of the Dubrava massacre. It went to the court as a request, but it never addressed any crime of Serbia. There was no enterprise in the KLA, this was the truth and this truth will come to light. The KLA was created in the hearts of the people of Kosovo, it was not created by anyone from above. This will be crowned with the release of the former KLA leaders and their return to Kosovo. The person who is behind these indictments himself has problems with justice. This is enough for us and shows the frivolity of the person who instituted these indictments. We hope that the verdict will be on the right side of history ", said Konjufca./CNA
