"Kosovo in NATO should be our national objective"/ Mediu congratulates

The Chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, congratulated the 18th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence.

Through a post on social networks, Mediu writes that Kosovo's independence is the event of the century for Albanians.

Focusing on the former leaders of the KLA, Mediu said that those who are unjustly in The Hague today were NATO's first allies against the Milosevic regime.

Further, the head of the PR said that the common national objective should be Kosovo's membership in NATO.

Happy 18th Anniversary of Independence, Kosovo!

Today is a holiday! The independence of Kosovo is the event of the century for Albanians. The KLA and its leaders, who are today unjustly in The Hague, were NATO's first allies in the war against the Milosevic regime.

All Albanians bow with honor and respect to those who gave their lives for Kosovo, the heroes of the entire Albanian people, especially Bacë Adem Jashari. Its leaders, Ibrahim Rugova, Adem Demaçi and others, men and women who dedicated their entire lives to Kosovo, its freedom and independence.

Kosovo in NATO should be our national objective, which requires cooperation and seriousness from all Albanians, wherever they are.
