Wangner group attacks in the north of Kosovo? Police officer's answer

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti in a press conference stated that soon there will be a definition of what is happening in the north of Kosovo. 

 

"Today we held a meeting of the Security Council. I will have meetings with our international partners and allies, some time will be left for the experts to name what happened, we are waiting for the evaluation of the professionals", said Kurti.

When asked if the armed persons are part of the Wagner group, as is being said, Kurti did not answer but passed the word to the Police official. 

"The border patrol of Kosovo with Serbia is constantly moving, we have been vigilant. The municipality of Lepasovic is the fifth territory in Kosovo. It is difficult to control at all points. But, for the others, maybe the deputy director can best answer that me", said Kurti. 

While deputy the General Director of the Police, Klevi Hoti, said that such a thing is not proven. 

"Regarding the Wanger group, we had information that we could attack, but we have no evidence that it is them. We are treating them as information," said the senior official.
