The Foreign Minister of Albania, Igli Hasani, has reacted to the serious incident that happened today in Kosovo.

Hasani says that Albania is by Kosovo's side in these difficult moments that require composure, in close cooperation with allies and partners.

He strongly condemns the armed attack against the Police and the state of Kosovo.

"We strongly condemn the armed attack against the Police and the state of Kosovo. Our condolences to the family of the Police officer who lost his life in the line of duty and speedy recovery to the injured officer. Today's criminal act is a threat to the security and stability of our region and the perpetrators must face justice as soon as possible. Albania is by Kosovo's side in these difficult moments that require composure, in close cooperation with allies and partners," Hasani writes on social networks. / CNA
