The Security Council meets in Kosovo, Kurti: Criminals orchestrated by Serbia

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has announced that since 10:00 a.m. the Security Council is in charge of the event that took place in the village of Banjskë, where an officer of the Kosovo Police was killed.

The head of the government also gives details about the injured policeman, Alban Rashit, where it is stated that he was hit by a projectile by criminals orchestrated by Serbia.

"The operation to remove the projectile from the left arm of the police officer Alban Rashiti was successfully carried out this morning. The projectile was a hand grenade that was thrown by criminals orchestrated by Serbia towards the Kosovo police during their terrorist attack near the bridge in Banjské i Zveçani. During the visit to the Surgical Clinic of the KKUK, I also met Alban's family, who came from Velekinca, Gjilan. The wounded policeman Alban Rashiti will be released from the hospital today. Now at 10:00 a.m. we have a meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Kosovo", says Kurti on social networks.

There have been many reactions from the government and politics in Kosovo about the event. Still no reaction from Serbia. The situation continues to remain tense. The authorities in Kosovo closed the border point in Bërnjak for entry from Serbia.
