The condition of the injured policeman in the north of Mitrovica, the doctor

The officer wounded by a gunshot in Lepasovic is in a stable state of health. 
Nazmi Kolgeci, director of the Clinic of Thoracic Surgery at KKUK, stated that the policeman underwent an intervention and the metal projectile was removed.

"Today, in the early hours of the morning, we received a patient, who is a member of the Kosovo Police, who had a gunshot wound. The injury is on the left arm, the intervention was done in Thoracic Surgery. The shell has been removed, the patient's condition is stable, he also has an injury on his right leg from the firearm", said the doctor. 

A police officer identified as Afrim Bunjaku was the victim in this event, while another was injured. 

The situation in the north continues to be tense. Local media reports that the attacking group is hiding in the Monastery of Banjska and there is still gunfire between them and the Kosovo police. No other details are known.
