Russian attacks cause damage to energy infrastructure in Ukraine

Russia has attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones overnight, damaging energy infrastructure in four regions, the national energy company Ukrenerho said on June 20.

"Equipment was damaged in power buildings in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions," Ukrenerho said in a Telegram post.

This company said that during the attacks on an energy building, three employees were injured.

Separately, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia attacked Ukraine on June 20 with nine missiles and 27 drones.

The Ukrainian military said it shot down all the drones and five missiles.

Since Russia launched its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Moscow's forces have continuously targeted Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons and also attacked energy buildings and civilian infrastructure.
