Russia has begun evacuating some residents from the city of Belgorod after deadly attacks from Ukraine, the BBC reports.
On Friday, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said some families had fled the town - which is close to the Ukrainian border.
Last weekend, 25 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in one of the deadliest attacks in Russia since the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
The attack followed a major wave of Russian strikes in Ukraine, which killed dozens of people.
The governor said residents would be sent to the towns of Stary Oskol and Gubkin where they could stay "as long as necessary"./ CNA
