Gunshot murder in Gjakova

A shooting incident occurred this morning in Gjakova. According to the police, two people were shot and one of them died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the other person was injured and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

It is reported that everything started after a conflict in a bar, where it is suspected that it was the owner who shot the customer. It is reported that the perpetrator has been declared wanted by the police and work is underway to capture him.

"A case has been initiated for the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder". The suspect has been identified and is on the run. The State Prosecutor has arrived at the scene. The victim's body has been sent for autopsy to the IML," said the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, Drin Domi. /CNA
