"A Range Rover has fallen from the sky..." The stolen car enters

Two years after blocking the car in Qafë-Thane and keeping it at the police station in Pogradec, there is no answer from the prosecution or the court as to what will happen to this vehicle.

In the court of Korça, they tell us that there is a decision of the Court of Pogradec, which dismissed the citizen's request to take the vehicle.

Employee: Objection to the seizure decision of 2021.

Citizen: On August 12, 2021, the car was blocked.

Employee: That's all I can think of here. Luljeta Kolonja says objection and dismissed the request. This is a Pogradec file.

The citizen addressed the Pogradec Judicial District Court on 24.11.2021, where he contested the seizure decision and requested the return of the items. According to this decision, the Range Rover brand vehicle was declared stolen on 14.11.2019 by Interpol London. According to the verifications carried out by the TIMS system, the vehicle is not registered either at the entrance or at the exit of the Republic of Albania. The question that is asked and we still do not have an answer is, how did this vehicle pass the customs of Durrës?

In a communication between the citizen and the seller's father-in-law, the latter admits that he himself brought the car through the customs of Durrës. He even says that his son-in-law, who sold the car, did not report any theft.

"A Range Rover has fallen from the sky..." The stolen car enters

Citizen: I am the guy from Australia, for whom you brought the car to Albania, in 2020.

Salesman's father-in-law: Yes, I remember. It was me… What's the problem?

Citizen: I have tried to contact Stuart (the seller). Last time I told him, the car was reported stolen. Who made the report that the car was stolen, your son or the previous owner?

Seller's father-in-law: Previous owner, I'm sure. I was the one who brought the car and met your daughter.

Citizen: It was my wife's niece who took you to the airport.

Salesman's father-in-law: Yes, he took me to the airport. It's true. Honestly, I offered to bring him (to Albania), to bring him, because that would be the right action. I had no idea it was stolen. I understand your concern. I was the one who brought it and I feel responsible.

Citizen: I paid £6,700 for that car and I loved the car.

Salesman's father-in-law: If it makes you feel better, he got £7,000 for a car, which I haven't got yet, so we're in the same situation./ tvklan
