Veliaj, as a suicide bomber against justice

Mayor Erion Veliaj has shown his kamikaze behavior towards justice, towards prosecutor Olsi Dado who conducted the investigations against him and his wife Ajola Xoxa, as well as towards the judge who issued the decision to arrest and leave him in prison.

Veliaj was arrested on February 10, 2025, and from that day on, his campaign against justice, the prosecutor, and the judge began.

CNA has reported in dozens of articles the harsh, threatening, insulting, defamatory, and abusive language used against Prosecutor Ols Dado.

Some of the terms used by Veliaj were "hitman", "lunatic", "Ols Violina", "unyielding", "licker", etc.

Below we present just a few of the cases.

On February 10, 2025, Erion Veliaj was arrested, following investigations conducted by prosecutor Olsi Dado and a decision made by judge Erion Bani. That same day, Veliaj reacted with a status on social media attacking the prosecutor, whom he described as a lunatic and a lustful indictee.

Immediately after this comment, another one followed the next day with the same offensive language.

On February 11, Veliaj recounted how he spent his first night in prison, calling prosecutor Olsi Dado a perverted individual, while the indictment, according to Veliaj, was hallucinatory and criminal perversion.

On February 13, a third reaction came regarding some specifications made against him in the investigative file. Veliaj described it as a 'concoction of a scoundrel' given that he learned in the courtroom that his sentence was handwritten on the file, something for which he accused prosecutor Dado.

On February 14, Veliaj denied the facts that are aggravating against him, while he described the investigative file as a file from Ols Dado's security. He insulted the latter by describing him as Ols violina. He described the courtroom of Judge Erjon Bani as a slaughterhouse. He said about the judge that he became one with the prosecutor, thus taking on the task of investigating and judging himself.

On February 15 , he continued by saying "Ols Dado's violin at the hostage-taking session, at my namesake's slaughterhouse," again insulting the Dado-Bani duo. He continued to call the prosecutor a failed violinist and a lunatic.

On February 16, he continued the insults, calling prosecutor Ols Dado a perverted prosecutor, a failed violinist and a lunatic. He called judge Erjon Bani a butcher, a slaughterhouse judge. Veliaj increased the dose of insults, saying that justice has ended in the single-cell logic of a functional paramecium!

On February 18, he described the investigative file as Ols Violina's long novel, while adding "he has accused me of Erjon Kasapi's slaughterhouse."

He then "took over" to vet Olsi Dado, even though the latter passed the vetting in 2022 and passed all three criteria without problems: wealth, purity of image, and professionalism.

 “Kështu është kur të bëjnë prokuror shoqet dhe të marrin në SPAK shokët - pa kriter e pa procedurë, e kështu, një miks mes injorancës e arrogancës bëhesh vrasës i gatshëm dinjitetesh njerëzore", tha Veliaj.

Po në të njëjtën ditë (në 18 shkurt) tha se është i burgosur pa gjyq, edhe pse gjyqi ju bë në 12 shkurt dhe u theksua në një seancë maratonë të gjitha shkeljet e kryera nga kryebashkiaku.

Në 19 Shkurt, vijoi e njëjta retorikë, ndërsa fyerjeve iu shtuan të tjera epitete.

“Shikoni se sa prej sigurimsi është strategjia banale e shejtanbudallait, që m’u qep mua me një letër anonime (autori i së cilës nuk çuditem të jetë Ols Angoni ose Nesti Dado, po ky është thjesht dyshim i arsyeshëm, jo provë)”, tha ndër të tjera Veliaj.

E njëjta gjuhë linçuese vijon në 21 dhe 22 shkurt.

“Ols Violina, që po panë një grua të mençur, të hijshme, të aftë, profesioniste, të pavarur, të dlirë, të artikuluar, të lexuar e të arrirë, i sulen si pitbull me jargë e skërmitje, për t’i thënë vetes 'jam i fortë, shih si futem në fustane dhe e mbaj gruan e targetit 9 orë në inkuizicion'”, tha Veliaj në një status të 21 shkurtit.

Në 23 shkurt retorika u ashpërsua duke kaluar deri në kanosje, teksa Veliaj i thotë Olsi Dados se nuk e di se me kë ka të bëjë.

“Ky 'kolegu' im Ols Angoni as nuk e ka idenë se me kë është ngatërruar, megjithëse e quan veten Bruce Willis hajvani dhe u tregon muskujt atyre ushtarëve të BKH (tani hajde Bruce, jepi, fute edhe këtë te kërcënimet që i kam bërë kafkës tënde të mbështjellë me shollë).

Nuk e ka idenë, dështaku, dhe nuk ka se si ta ketë në fakt, po do t'ia mësoj unë, ja kështu, me durim, pak nga pak, derisa t’i dalë boja kësaj menderhanes që gatoi për mue dhe ta neverisin të tërë, mbase përveç atyre që e përdorin si vegël të llojeve të ndryshme.”

Është ky kërcënimi i hapur më i fundit që Veliaj i bën prokurorit të çështjes së tij.

Një tjetër status pasoi po këtë të diel ku Dado u cilësua nga Veliaj një “pis që godet për llogari të Sali fundërrinës, e kam të pamundur ta pranoj se SPAK-u mund të ketë surratin e Ols Angonit!”, ndërsa prokurorin e cilësoi një “vrasës me pagesë”.

Pra, Erion Veliaj ka bërë me dhjetëra postime publike, sulmuese ndaj prokurorit dhe gjyqtarit që u morën me çështjen e tij.

Por nuk mjaftoi me kaq. CNA publikoi dosjen nga përgjimet e Veliajt ku u zbuluan dhe dirigjimet që u bënte mediave për të sulmuar prokurorin Ols Dado.

For about 136 days, CNA published the public deception of Mayor Erion Veliaj and the family's journalist, Mero Baze, who claimed that Ols Dado was in a conflict of interest after asking Veliaj for an addition to the construction permit but the mayor had refused, and for this reason they considered the investigations against Veliaj and his arrest as revenge.

Both Mero Baze and Veliaj did not publish either the document signed by Ols Dado or the refusal signed by the mayor. (The document does not exist like the Tirana incinerator).

From Durrës prison, Erion Veliaj concocted scenarios and attacks against the prosecutor that the media directed by him then used as an attack on justice, on the prosecutor.

Initially, his attacks on justice were joined by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has in fact held different positions on justice, saying that the institution is independent and that the Socialist Party has given it the sword to punish every lawbreaker, every corrupt and incriminated person.

Veliaj is in Durrës prison on 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, corruption, laundering the proceeds of crime, bringing prohibited items into the cell, abuse of office and concealment of assets.

He continues to use various tactics to avoid court hearings by postponing the hearings for his trial, after SPAK sent the file to the court for 13 charges.

Even though he has already been left in prison with all the court decisions, even though he is faced with facts and evidence, he does not go to face justice, but continues to make maneuvers and scenarios to postpone the court proceedings.

SPAK itself, in a public reaction, emphasized that the hearings were postponed due to the unjustified absences of the defendants' defense attorneys or their unfair requests, preventing the completion of the preliminary trial within the deadlines provided for by the Code of Criminal Procedure.

So, the scheme is clear and so are Veliaj's tactics to delay the court proceedings./ CNA
