The coordinator of the economic program in the Democratic Party, Dorjan Teliti, through a reaction on social networks, stated that in the third quarter of this year, the two productive pillars of the Albanian economy, agriculture and industry, are again in recession, for the third year in a row.

Teliti says that while the government boasts of "economic growth," the real economy is actually shrinking. He emphasizes that without agriculture and without industry, there is no development, only impoverishment and emigration.

ECONOMIC GROWTH ON PAPER, RECESSION ON THE GROUND!

According to INSTAT, in the third quarter of 2025, the two productive pillars of the Albanian economy are again in recession - for the third consecutive year. Specifically, "agriculture" -1.73% and "industry" -4.75%.

While the government boasts of "economic growth," production falls, the countryside impoverishes, factories go bankrupt or slow production at best, and the real economy shrinks.

The irony? The economy “grows” without agriculture. The economy “grows” without industry. The economy “grows” without manufacturing.

This is not economic growth. This is statistical propaganda about a real 3-year crisis in the sectors that produce, employ, and keep the economy alive.
