Convicted by France/ Shkodra Prosecution seizes 6 assets and bank accounts

The Shkodra Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of citizen BB and his family members.

The seizure of assets was carried out after BB was convicted by French authorities for drug trafficking and it turns out that he and his family members own assets suspected of being derived from illegal activities.

The prosecution has seized 3 cars, 3 motorcycles and several bank accounts.

He did not justify the assets, the Shkodra Prosecution Office seizes the vehicles and motor vehicles of citizen BB, previously convicted by the French authorities

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Shkodra, based on Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and suppression of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", the vehicles and motor vehicles of citizen BB and his family members were seized.
The investigations showed that citizen BB had previously been convicted by the French authorities for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics" provided for by Article 283/a of the Criminal Code and after relevant verifications, there were suspicions that this citizen and his family members possess assets or income that are disproportionate in relation to the level of income or profits from declared legal activities and are not derived from them.
For the above, based on Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and suppression of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", the following were seized:
- The vehicle "Mercedes Benz", Model S600L in the name of citizen BB;
- The motorcycle "Piaggio", Model Gilera, in the name of citizen BB;
- The motorcycle "Yamaha", Model MT09, in the name of citizen BB;
- The vehicle "Volkswagen", Model Golf 2.0 TDI, in the name of citizen GB;
- The motorcycle "Yamaha", Model YP250R, in the name of citizen GB;
- The vehicle "Lancia", Model Y, in the name of citizen EB;
- All bank accounts in the name of citizen BB and his family members.
