Gaz Bardhi attacks the Constitutional Court

The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has shared a position that more closely resembles an attack on the Constitutional Court.

Through a post on social media, Bardhi reacted after a clarification from the Constitutional Court that refutes the statements made regarding the Belinda Balluku case.

Bardhi considers the arguments given by this court as constitutional idiocy and accuses them of double standards.

"The only valuable explanation for the public that the Constitutional Court should provide is this: what were the reasons and motives that led it to submit to the Prime Minister's pressure in the Balluku case, showing irresponsibility and a marked lack of integrity. Clarifying this circumstance would free the Constitutional Court from political hostage-taking and would reduce the gap of distrust in this court.
Also, they would do well to write as long as the explanation for the public, the constitutional arguments for the suspension of a criminal court decision, with individual effect, at the request of a constitutional institution, such as the Prime Minister!
To date, they have not provided a single constitutional argument, except for the constitutional idiocy that the justice system's fight against corruption violates state interests more than the government corruption itself in a 1.1 billion euro affair.
Equally necessary for the credibility of the Constitutional Court remains the clarification of the two standards followed: why 1/5 of the deputies are not legitimized for "... to request an interpretation of the measures against a deputy, while the Prime Minister is legitimated to request an interpretation of the measures against a minister.
When they have clarified these, they can also make a statement denying themselves and the extraordinary pressure that the Prime Minister is exerting on this issue!
