Journalist Bledi Mane has reacted after several publications regarding the laboratory tests of the mayor of Gjirokastra, Flamur Golemi, following reports that the latter is infected with AIDS.

Through a post on social media, Mane writes that Golemi has continued today with another gaffe, as the document shows that he conducted the tests at the Ioannina Hospital in Greece.

According to Mane, it is shameful that a senior Albanian official would go so far for an analysis that could have easily been performed in one of the country's hospitals.

"SCANDALS ARE NOT ARRIVING/ The disgraced Flamur of Gjirokastra has continued today with another gaffe. After yesterday he dragged everyone from the mayor's office to the old women of Palorto to deny the erotic and pornographic news, today he himself came out and published a test sheet which shows that Flamur is negative for a dangerous type of hepatitis. Of course, we wish Flamur Golem good health and a long life, but shame still continues to follow him. The local Albanian high official, the Albanian doctor, the Albanian citizen has gone far to the Ioannina hospital in Greece to do a simple blood test, thus ignoring the Gjirokastra hospital, the regional hospital in Fier, the public and private hospitals of Tirana and the laboratory of the Institute of Public Health. So the Albanian doctor spends the money of Albanian taxpayers to test his Albanian blood in Greek hospitals...
