The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Tirana Region, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with residents in Marikaj today.

During his speech, Balla said that the local government finds it difficult to cope alone with infrastructure investments and other problems in the area.

"With the budget it has, the municipality of Vora cannot solve all the problems. Interventions on secondary roads alone would require the entire annual investment fund. The municipality of Vora has not lacked support, but we will work to ensure that this support is even greater ," said Balla, adding that government support remains crucial for the further development of the area.

During the meeting, the potential for the development of agrotourism in Marikaj was also discussed.

"This area has many development opportunities. Marikaj is a hill in its own right and can become an important point for agrotourism, as tourism is bringing concrete benefits to the country's economy," said Balla.

He raised concerns about public administration employees, describing it as one of the main challenges, while calling on residents to report any cases of abuse.

"Our problem is not political opponents, but administration employees who do not respond to citizens. Only by identifying by name those who do not do their duty can we clean up the administration," declared Balla. /CNA
