"We will sue the police director in SPAK"/ Boçi: Violence and

The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, spoke today regarding the protest organized the day before in front of the Prime Minister's Office. In an interview with Syri TV, Boçi stated that they will prepare a report to SPAK against the Director of the State Police, Skënder Hita.

"We will prepare a report to SPAK for the police director and the director of the rapid intervention forces for that brutality and aggression ," said Boçi.

He further stated that "the police's aggressiveness towards the protesters seeks to draw the opposition into this approach". According to him, this would serve Prime Minister Edi Rama as an argument to continue being in government. Among other things, he added that no person was spared from police violence.

"This type of aggressiveness seeks to draw the opposition to this approach so that Rama has an argument to continue to be calm in that chair that is shaken by the corrupt events. But also by the economic and institutional crisis and the decline in the level of well-being of Albanian citizens, who are now reacting. It seems that there is a channel that is heading towards creating a boiling point and Rama is seeking to vent this, and one of the ways to do this is "unmasking the opposition's violence". As soon as a protest is over, they begin to communicate with diplomatic shortcomings. The way the group of deputies was hit, directly and in the eye, they do not spare any kind of human point. The blow that was made to Aulon Kala and by raising accusations against him for more. They want to attract the opposition", said Boçi.

Regarding what will happen in the upcoming protests, the Democratic MP said that this requires a deep political analysis, but stressed that there must be greater commitment.

"No one should think that this work will remain at these levels. When we go out there, we do not go out to make the next call, but we go out for those honest elections that have not been held for years. What will happen tomorrow requires a deep analysis. The next protest should have a greater commitment from the DP deputies. The next protest should also bring closer the final goal of the protests as a whole," he said. /CNA
