The Special Prosecution has requested a 17-year prison sentence for Islam Sefa, suspected of being the financier and leader of drug trafficking in Germany, which was worth 3.3 million euros.

Sefa benefits from a shortened trial, which reduces his sentence to 11.4 years in prison if convicted by the Criminal Court.

The quantity of narcotics was mainly supplied from Albania and Spain and, after entering German territory, was traded in the Wolfsburg and Magdeburg regions, as well as in other European Union countries.

The investigations have resulted and proven that the defendants and their associates during the years 2020-2021 trafficked into Germany a quantity of more than 1000 kg of marijuana, the value of which amounts to 3,374,400 (three million three hundred seventy thousand four hundred) euros.
