The electoral situation in the Lezha region continues to remain tense.

Another complaint has been submitted to the Lezha Local Police Directorate by representatives of the Socialist Party in Kurbin, who claim that they have been the subject of accusations and false news, which include allegations of vote buying and even warnings of arrests for some of them.

In a statement to the media, the leader of the SP Kurbin, Benard Palaj, described the accusations as unfounded and part of a campaign to discredit Socialist Party figures on the eve of the elections.

"We are facing well-organized slander that aims to misinform public opinion and create panic. There is no evidence for these claims, so we consider them political attacks that aim to damage our campaign," Palaj declared.
