SPAK has published today the latest data regarding electoral crimes, just a few days before the parliamentary elections on May 11th.
Through a notification, the Special Prosecution Office announces that 29 proceedings have been registered for active corruption in elections, 4 proceedings for active/passive corruption in elections, 1 proceeding for the use of public office for political purposes and 1 proceeding for the use of public office for political purposes.
SPAK has announced throughout the pre-election period and beyond that it has undertaken a plan for investigations into electoral crimes in the country, spread throughout the territory.
"29 proceedings have been registered for the criminal offense of Article 328 (active corruption in elections).
4 proceedings have been registered for both articles, respectively, under Article 328 with Article 328/b (active/passive corruption in elections).
1 proceeding has been registered under Article 328/a (use of public office for political purposes).
1 proceeding has been registered for Article 328/a (use of public office for political purposes and Article 248 (abuse of office)", - the SPAK announcement states. /CNA
