Elbasan Police have made public the roads that will be blocked as part of the "Giro d'Italia 2025" cycling tour.
The axis that will be blocked is "Karine - Peqin - Bradashesh - Shijon - Gracen", on May 9th from 11:30 to 15:30.
Police are urging people to use alternative routes.

The axis that will be blocked: "Karine - Peqin - Bradashesh - Shijon - Gracen"
In the framework of the international cycling competition "Giro d'Italia 2025", which will take place on May 9, 2025, in Elbasan, the Elbasan Local Police Directorate has undertaken a series of measures to guarantee public order and security, as well as the smooth running of this sporting activity.
The measures that will be implemented in the territory of the Elbasan region are:
Temporary traffic blockage on the road axis:
"Karine - Peqin - Bradashesh - Shijon - Gracen", during the hours of 11:30 - 15:30.
Traffic stop and exit ban on this axis from secondary roads along the race segment.
Prohibition of movement of trucks coming from Qafë Thana during activity hours.
Alternative route to the south:
Vehicles traveling from Qafë Thana, Librazhd and Elbasan, in the south direction, are advised to use the alternative road axis "Elbasan-Cërrik Intersection-Cërrik-Belsh-Kuçovë"
These measures aim to guarantee road safety, the continuation of the race and minimize the impact on the movement of citizens and vehicles.
The Elbasan Local Police Directorate thanks drivers and citizens for their understanding during this cycling activity, and appeals and requests citizens' understanding to avoid traffic on the road axes that are part of the itinerary, during the activity's development schedules, and to use alternative routes./ CNA
