Rain and snow in Shkodra Region/ Road blocked in Vukpalaj, water in Obot

The territory of Shkodra District is one of the most affected by the situation created by weather conditions. 

Rainfall has been of low intensity and has ceased in most of the territory, while the identified problems remain localized. 

In the Municipality of Shkodra, a decrease in the flow of the Drin River has been observed. There is still water on the Oboti road, while the surface area of ??waterlogged land has increased, with no other problems reported so far. During the night, snowfall was recorded in mountainous areas, specifically on the Bogë–Theth axis, where the necessary measures have been taken to clean and salt the road.

In the Municipality of Vau i Dejës, as a result of low-intensity rainfall, there are currently no civil emergency issues reported. 

The situation in the Malësi e Madhe Municipality appears calm, with little rainfall and snowfall in the mountainous areas of the Kelmend Administrative Unit, with no reported problems. However, in the village of Vukpalaj, the access road remains blocked by water on several entrance bridges to the village, with a level of over three meters, while the rest of the area is accessible.

In the Municipality of Puka, the rains have stopped and the temperatures are low.

According to data from the Lezha Irrigation and Drainage Directorate, the rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours has been around 25 mm, while water levels at monitoring points remain below critical levels. The dams continue to operate at full capacity and the embankments do not present any problems.
