The Prefecture of Korça has provided updates regarding the situation caused by the rainfall in the territory of this region. The announcement below states that there are several local problems, which are being managed by the responsible structures on the ground.

In the Pogradec Municipality, in the village of Dardhas, there is a landslide on the road and work is underway to create a bypass for the community. The Starova River has overflowed on both sides of the road, while the Verdovë River has not overflowed its bed.

In Korça Municipality, the road to Denas village is currently impassable due to stream flows. In Devoll Municipality, the center of Proger village is impassable for small vehicles.

There are rockfalls and landslides on the national axes Qafë Plloçë-Qukës. Meanwhile, regarding electricity, in the Korça Region, outages are reported for 503 subscribers in limited areas.

As a result of the rainfall, several local problems have been identified in the Korça Region, which are being managed by the responsible structures on the ground.

In the Municipality of Pogradec, in the village of Dardhas, there is a landslide on the road and work is being done to create a bypass for the community. The Starova River has overflowed on both sides of the road and the situation is being monitored. The Verdova River has numerous flows, but so far it has not overflowed its bed.

In the Municipality of Korça, in the villages of Çiflig and Shamoll, water has been detected near several homes, but the level is decreasing and does not pose a danger. The road to the village of Denas is currently impassable due to the flow of the stream, intervention will be made when the water level decreases to stabilize the situation.

In the Devoll Municipality, there is water on the roads in Proger and Mançurisht, the center of the Proger village is impassable for small vehicles and the situation is being monitored.

In the Municipality of Maliq, landslides have been observed in the Lozhan-Moglica segment, which were cleared by the contractor, and there is erosion on the road surface on the Podgorie-Zvezdë axis, km 11, near Kishnik, as a result of high flows from the irrigation canal. Portable signage has been installed and the contractor is working to prevent further damage.

In the Municipality of Kolonjë, on the Ersekë-Leskovik axis, there is a road closure, but portable signage has been installed without blocking traffic.

In the Pustec Municipality, there is an increase in the stream level, work is being done with an excavator and the situation does not pose a danger.

There are rockfalls and landslides on the national roads Qafë Plloçë–Qukës. The Traffic Police and the contractor are on the ground to normalize the situation.

Regarding electricity, in the Korça Region, power outages are reported for 503 subscribers in limited areas. OSHEE teams are on the ground and supply for customers of particular importance is guaranteed.
