From road axes to energy supply/ How the situation in the country is due to bad

Heavy rainfall continued throughout the country yesterday evening. Working groups have been present on the ground since the first moments of the weather deterioration, intervening wherever problems were reported. Throughout yesterday evening and today, structures under the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources have been engaged throughout the territory, working to normalize the situation.

SITUATION IN THE DRIN CASCADE

The natural flows in the cascade are about:

•HEP Fierzë 2300 m3/s

• HEC Koman 1150 m3/s

•HPP Vau i Dejës 400 m3/s

•KESH continues to carefully and continuously monitor the water situation in the cascade, guaranteeing safe and efficient management of water resources.

WATER SUPPLY

•The situation appears normalized and without problems in the supply of drinking water.

•In the Lezha Region, the situation has normalized. The drinking water supply is normal and there is no presence of surface water in the city.

•The situation in the Durrës Region is moving towards normalization. The Kënetës and Nishtulla areas are showing improvement.

•In the Kukes Region, drinking water supply sources continue to be turbid.

PORTS AND AIRPORT

Port of Durres

•Work continues normally in all sectors.

Vlora Port

•The Vlora-Brindisi ferry arrived normally and departed in the evening as scheduled.

•The movement of small vessels in the Gulf of Vlora continues to be suspended.

Port of Saranda

•The situation appears calm. The ferry line to Corfu has continued operations normally.

"MOTHER TERESA" AIRPORT

•During the evening, from 01:30-03:30, due to adverse meteorological conditions, 5 flights (Bologna, Milan, Turin, Bari, Cologne) were diverted to Brindisi and Bari.
