Rising water level/ Situation in Novosela worsens

The situation in the Novoselë administrative unit has deteriorated in recent hours as a result of rising water levels, posing a danger to residents and property in the area.

The Municipality of Vlora, in cooperation with the responsible civil emergency structures, the National Civil Protection Agency and the Armed Forces, has engaged all necessary capacities on the ground. The authorities inform that they are fully prepared to assist residents, both in case of need for evacuation, and to take measures for the rescue and safety of livestock.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of Vlora calls on residents of the area to strictly follow the instructions of the structures on the ground and to avoid unnecessary movements in the endangered areas, until the situation normalizes./ CNA
