Shehaj: Beqaj is part of the gang, he has the prison as his home

The head of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, commented on the situation created this Tuesday at the Investigative Commission on Health, where former minister Ilir Beqaj was supposed to testify, but his request for a PowerPoint presentation created several hours of debate.

Shehaj described the situation in the Commission as absurd, while declaring that this shows that Beqaj is part of the gang.

He stated on Eni Vasili's show that Beqaj treats prison as if he were at home.

"It is absurd what happened in the Assembly. What happened today shows that Ilir Beqaj is part of the gang. What is happening is serious, how can a man who is accused of corruption go to the Assembly and ask for PowerPoint. He stole money that was supposed to go to medicine. In relation to what they have stolen, they have prison as if they are staying at home", Shehaj emphasized./ CNA
