"The situation of Beqaj, delicate"/ Vokshi, debate with Koçi:

Ilir Beqaj's request to make a "PowerPoint" presentation at the Investigative Commission for Health continues to be a topic of debate among members.

The Chairperson of the Investigative Commission, Albana Vokshi, insists that this presentation will not take place, while the members of the SP demand that Beqaj be allowed.

During the debate, SP MP Petro Koçi says that Beqaj's situation should be taken into account, as it is delicate.

However, Vokshi recalls accusations of theft in 4 cases and abuse of EU funds.

Excerpts from the debate:

Koçi: It is not stated in any article that the chairman of the Investigative Commission is always right, he is not more important than the members. Beqaj's situation is more delicate and he is more interested. He asked for a video presentation and we can't blow it

Vokshi: Should we be blamed for stealing on four occasions? In addition to PPPs, he was also caught stealing EU funds

Koçi:  We are in favor of the law. Whoever has done illegal things, let him be punished. We are not a court. You are the police party. At the head of the party you have a chief constable. We have not brought anyone in handcuffs. The gentleman came in handcuffs, due to the situation he is in. You may want SP deputies to come here in handcuffs, but this is not by choice. The law does not prohibit the statement to be accompanied by photos, videos. Don't spoil it for technical issues.
