The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, at the same time and Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku inspected the road segment, Maqellare-Peshkopi, part of the Arbri Road, this Tuesday.

Balluku announced that the systemization and asphalting work has started in this segment and that this work is expected by all the residents of Dibran, but also by all the visitors.

During her speech, she said that "from the 11 kilometers that today connect Maqellara to Peshkopina, we will go somewhere to 9 or a little less 8.54 kilometers".

"This is the Maqellare-Peshkopi construction site and today I was reading that the progress of the works is 5.4% as it has just started. I think that at this rate that I see, we will have the work done very quickly. Continuation of the Arbri road, a work that is expected by all the people of Dibran, but also by all the visitors, who have been many this year and which I would say will be not only a road with improved conditions that is a category C2 improved, but on the other hand we will also have a reduction in kilometers. So from the 11 kilometers that today connect Maqellara to Peshkopina, we will go somewhere to 9 or a little less 8.54 kilometers. The project is 8.54 kilometers, 2.4 kilometers shorter than the existing road. The quality will be a C2 quality.
