Prime Minister Edi Rama conducted an inspection on the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis to see the works and to clarify to the public regarding the collapse of a 150-meter segment of the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis.

He stressed that the damage to the road was the result of a natural phenomenon and not corruption, stating that a torrent of accusations and slander has spread in the media and politics.

The Prime Minister emphasized the strategic importance of Corridor 8 for Albania, adding that investment in this axis places the country in an important position in connecting the southeastern areas.

He assured that the works will continue with priority for the safety and stability of the road, even in the face of difficult weather conditions.

"The purpose of this visit was to take a closer look to show the public the 150-meter open wound that has caused this concern, but also an extraordinary downpour of mud from the political and media mudslinging machine that has shaken the 700 pots with all kinds of accusations of slander and fantasies, which have already collapsed due to corruption when it is clear that the segment is the old segment and is related to a natural phenomenon."

Faster than the truth can pull up its pants is a daily experience and the speed of lies is much greater than when the people said it, the truth is in great difficulty due to the whirlpools and organs of lies that come from all sides from phones or media channels.

"I am sorry that it has caused concerns, has disrupted the rhythm of life for many residents. Today we are here to clarify a work calendar and the new deadlines that we have set for ourselves. Corridor 8 is a strategic axis that is finally becoming a reality and puts Albania in another position," said Rama./ CNA
