"I am experienced in public trials"/ Balluku: I will never mention

Belinda Balluku, in handing over her duties to her successor, Enea Karakaçi, as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, also spoke about the investigative process against her.

Balluku said that it was her personal decision to remain silent on this issue as she believes that every legal issue is resolved according to what the Constitution provides.

She said that she believes in the new justice system and will never say anything against this reform, even when it affects her personally.

Balluku stated that he will never mention prosecutors or judges as everyone should be free to decide without being influenced.

The former deputy prime minister, referring to the news that has been circulating, said that there are neither 300 nor 3 apartments and all of these are part of a public trial. Trials for which Balluku said she has been accustomed to these trials since she was little.

Tearful, Balluku declared that she will continue this personal and political journey alone to bring the truth to light.

" I have made a personal decision to remain silent on a legal issue because I believe that every legal issue is not resolved in the media, but must have its course as provided for by the Constitution. I have decided not to curse and anathema, but to be consistent in my stance, regarding justice. If you go back to my statements about justice, you will not find one that contradicts the other. I believe that the new justice as a product of the justice reform, should continue to be an inspiration for this country after that reform was carried out to restore faith in justice. I believe in this justice and you will never hear me praise it when it hits opponents and anathema it when it hits my personal interests. You will never hear me mention prosecutors or judges. Everyone should be free to decide without being influenced by public trials. I have never had any connection with corruption. I do not have 300 or 30 or 3 apartments. I do not have yachts or limousines. All of this is part of a public trial that is conducted with the greatest ease in this country. Perhaps my back can handle public trial better than anyone else, as I have been trained and seasoned since I was little.

I regret that my personal situation has created delays in the functioning of the ministry. I regret the days and months lost in important processes that need to be moved forward immediately.

"You will overcome this whole situation by letting me continue my political and personal journey to bring the truth to light ," said Balluku./C NA
