"Police linked to crime"/ Qafoku: Dumani said it in Parliament

Journalist Roland Qafoku, in a television appearance, speaking about yesterday's attack in Rinas, said that there is a disconnect between the police and the community.

Qafoku said that SPAK leader Altin Dumani also said this in Parliament, but no action was taken.

The journalist then focused on Dumani's other statement that the number of police reports on organized crime has decreased, a statement he described as a bombshell.

 

"What is this disconnect between the police and the community? If you don't have cooperation with the community, who do you have? With crime. What the SPAK leader said, that state police leaders are connected to crime, he said in parliament. The question is, has anyone taken any action after this? No one was fired, nothing. They don't hold any press conferences, let alone come to the studio.  

 

It is up to us to debate the policies of governance. Governance belongs to the whole society and must be transparent, you cannot privatize it. When Dumani made that harsh criticism, he then dropped another bombshell; that there is a decrease in police reports on organized crime. Both are serious ," said Qafoku./CNA
