The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has led several citizens of Kosovo on the first visa-free trip, this time to Vienna.

"This is not your captain but your prime minister", Kurti is heard telling the passengers.

While looking happy and smiling, he asked all those who will travel to respect the rules and time limits of stay.

"Good morning everyone! This is not your captain but your prime minister. First of all, Happy New Year. Today is the first day of 2024, but also the first day of visa-free travel. On flight OS678 there are also 50 passengers of the first visa-free trip to Vienna. I invite you to enjoy the squares, palaces and have a good time in the history museum in Vienna. Don't stay more than 90 days because as you know freedoms have rules. Let's travel freely respecting the rules," he said.

From today, citizens of Kosovo will be able to travel without visas to the countries of the Schengen zone. Prime Minister Albin Kurti declared that an injustice was removed. The praises for this big step for Kosovo have not been lacking even from the political leaders of our country./ CNA
